Hi! I'm Elke van Bekkum, born on 29 November 2000 in the city centre of Utrecht. Since the first class in high school I knew I wanted to go to Amfi to study fashion and branding. When I was sixteen I moved to Amsterdam. There I found out why I wanted to study fashion so bad. With fashion you can show who you are, where you stand for, what you think is important. Fashion unites people. Since I live in Amsterdam I always stroll around the streets, looking at people. How they act, to each other and to the earth. I think that could be better and that fashion can make a difference.

While walking trough the streets and making my proces at Amfi and Wdka to become a fashion-professional I have found out what I want to do with fashion, what my purpose in life is. My always-looking eyes and always-hearing ears are my superpower to connect people and make the world, with fashion, a little more understanding and respectful.
