Triptych is a three-week project with the whole second year of Amfi. All courses work together to make a fashion show. We worked in a group of thirty people at the brand Afterglow. My part was to make the brand book, in a group of four people. Almost all the images are found by me and the book and layout is set up by me. We wanted a futuristic and clean appearance so it would fit the concept and the clothing. The concept was made up for the year 2030. After a turmoil in 2022 the earth needed to glow up again. This brand drives for reviving true interaction between people and mother earth. We visualised this into the clothing and the fabrics we have used and in the visual communication in the brand book.

Me and my classmate combined the brand Mick Keus to a new target group, young, fashionable girls with the age of 13/16. We have made the subbrand Micky. More playful, younger and cheaper than Mick Keus. We added the vision “the best version of yourself - unique denim, unique you” After making this concept we produced a leaflet and made an identity for the brand. This worked in collection boards, floorpans for a store, use of materials, colours and sustainability. But also a worked out plan for the bags in the store.

Profound research in one target group. Starting with just an age selection (twelve to twenty) and filtering to one specific group; young teenage girls. Observing people, talking to them, finding out what they think is important. Imagine to be them. That’s what I did for this assignment and after that collecting al the details that makes them this specific target group. I did interviews, I have watched them on the streets, their behaviour on social media. I have read articles about Gen Z and did an allround research to get to know the details and make an informative living room viewing box. This was one of my favourite assignments.
